Cedarwood has been used for centuries, including by the Egyptians for embalming. It is excellent for repelling insects such as moths.

It can be helpful for respiratory conditions such as catarrh & bronchitis. Also may be helpful for urinary infections/cystitis.

It has a tonic action on the body and can be helpful for stress and tension. For skin it is most useful for acne, as it is astringent and antiseptic
