comfrey macerate
Wild-crafted comfrey (symphytum spp.) macerated in organic sunflower oil (helianthus annus). Made from the April/May 2011 harvest. The comfrey is gathered in a rural setting in Aberdeenshire and harvested to give optimum potency. The flowers, leaves and root of the herb are used in the maceration. Comfrey is anti-inflammatory and so can be helpful for arthritic and rheumatism conditions. It is renowned in wound healing and for bruises, sprains and strains. The old name for comfrey is 'knitbone' For external use only - not to be taken internally Comfrey's origin is Scotland, UK and the Sunflower oil is from Spain Comfrey Oil is used in our Comfrey Ointment, Gardener's Hand Balm and Herbal Foot Balm
