petitgrain (citrus aurantium subsp. amara)
Petitgrain is a wonderful oil, obtained from the leaves and twigs of the bitter orange, that we have used much in therapy. It can have a balancing effect on the nervous system. It can be incredibly uplifting and also be helpful for insomnia and stress-related conditions. Petitgrain is a tonic for the skin and can help reduce sebaceous activity. It said to be a more economic substitute for neroli (the bitter orange blossom), which suggests it is inferior, but we feel that it can stand easily on its own merits. Very easily blends with rose geranium and or/rose to give a very balancing and calming blend 10ml Country of origin - Paraguay
